MUS 5003 Performer's Survey III: Choral Lit Cantata/Mass
A wide variety of choral literature will be studied, from both solo/ensemble singing and conducting perspectives. The primary focus of study is to foster a broad knowledge of many works, especially the genres of Oratorio, Cantata, and Mass from the Baroque through Contemporary periods. In addition to reading, listening, and in-class lectures, students will be coached in performances in a master class setting.
