MUS 5402 Vocal Pedagogy II
A continuation of the work of
MUS 5401 Vocal Pedagogy I: Physiology of the voice and pedagogical methods for teaching singing. Mentored clinical teaching with in-class observation and critique. Tests cover text and lectures. Research paper on a voice related topic, either in the area of voice science or pedagogy. More emphasis on clinical teaching. Expectations and requirements for graduate students are higher than for the undergraduates in teaching, on tests, and in research.
