EDUC 2130 Educational Psychology: the Classroom Environment

This course introduces the psychological aspects of human development as they apply to teaching and learning environments. Topics include cognitive and psycho-social development, cognitive theories, student variability, motivation, diversity, classroom management, child abuse, and problem-solving. Special emphasis is placed on relating the theoretical understanding of education to the classroom learning environment.
