SOC 2500 Introduction to African Studies

This course, utilizing the disciplines of history, sociology, and anthropology, will present, discuss, and analyze the African American experience from pre slavery West Africa to contemporary U.S., with particular emphasis on current cultural, theological, social, economic, and political issues that exist within the African American community.
