El Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos (CHET)

Centro Hispano de Estudios Teológicos (CHET) is a theological and pastoral training center for Latino and Latina pastors, church planters, and lay leaders. It is an affiliate of the Evangelical Covenant Church and is certified by the Association for Hispanic Theological Education (AETH). CHET is also approved by the Board of Ordered Ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church to provide Spanish-language training required for Covenant credentialing. The dean of North Park Theological Seminary serves as a representative on CHET’s board of directors. College level theological training and ministerial formation are offered on the main campus in the Los Angeles area as well as by distance online education across the U.S. and in several countries in Latin America.
