HSC 3110 Health Promotion in Chronic Disease And Aging

This course will offer students knowledge and skills to plan, implement, and evaluate primary and tertiary disease prevention and health promotion strategies to accommodate the physiological, psychological, and social needs of older adults and those with chronic health conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Emphasis will be placed on strategies to improve nutrition, physical activity, and social and spiritual wellbeing.
