PHEN 4330 Machine Design and Analysis
This course is intended to cover the design of common machine elements such as shafts, fasteners, springs, bearings, and gears. This course will cover the application of materials selection, solid mechanics, vibrations and failure theories in the analysis of mechanical elements and systems. Finite Element Analysis software will be used for preprocessing, testing, and postprocessing of different mechanisms and designs.
