CSIS 1210 Introduction to Programming With Python
This course introduces fundamental principles of computer programming using the Python language. Students learn to design, write, test, and debug programs through structured problem-solving techniques. Topics include variables, data types, control structures, functions, file input/output, error handling, recursion, and an introduction to object-oriented programming. Emphasis is placed on logical reasoning, algorithmic thinking, and developing clean, well-documented code suitable for further study in computer science.
