CSIS 2100 Career Navigation and Exploration in Computer Science

This course introduces students to professional pathways within computer science and related disciplines. Students will research career options, analyze industry trends, and develop essential materials such as résumés, portfolios, and technical profiles. Emphasis is placed on interview preparation, networking strategies, and long-term career planning. Through guided reflection and professional practice, students will identify individual strengths, align goals with career opportunities, and formulate a concrete plan for entry into the computing profession. Prerequisites: Any Computer Science class or Advisor approval and a strong interest in a career in Computer Science.
