Intercultural Ministry

Today’s increasingly polarized world requires intercultural humility, self-awareness, and ability to interpret scripture and the times for ministry in and outside of the church. The Intercultural Ministry Certificate (IMC) equips practitioners with foundational instruction in Bible, culture, and practical skills necessary for service in a variety of contexts. Four courses taken at the pace of each participant will provide opportunities for online and in-person experiential learning ending in certification as a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. The IMC can be pursued as a stand-alone certificate for non-degree seekers, or can integrate into any of NPTS degree programs.
