PHEN 2535 Introduction to Materials Science

This course introduces the science and engineering of materials such as metals, ceramics and glasses, polymers and composites. Topics include: crystals, defects, non crystalline structures, phase diagrams, kinetics, processing, degradation, and failure of materials. Lab is included in this course.
