EDUC 3181 Language and Literacy in Early Childhood
This course equips preservice teachers with essential knowledge and skills to support literacy and language development in children from birth to grade two. Candidates will learn evidence-based strategies focusing on phonics, sharing books, creating literacy workshops, and conducting assessments. They will also develop instructional units to support emerging reading and writing in diverse classroom settings to meet the needs of all learners.
