EDUC 3205 Mathematics Methods for the Middle Grades
This course focuses on the methods and techniques for mathematics instruction and assessment in the middle grades. Candidates will review specific math content and skills identified in the Common Core State Standards while developing differentiated lessons and a comprehensive, interdisciplinary unit plan. Through collaborative planning and peer teaching, candidates will implement effective instructional strategies tailored to the needs of middle grades learners.
