NURS 5220 Communication and Managing Healthcare in Collaboration

Basic theories of interpersonal communication and information technologies are explored. Use of these skills and technologies to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team is emphasized. Legal and ethical issues related to health information technology and health information exchanges will be examined.
